Staging for an occupied property includes depersonalizing, de-cluttering, changing the composition of a room through furniture placement and rearranging accessories to enhance the homes special features, such as a fireplace, windows, built-in cabinetry etc. The pricing for this type of staging will typically be from $500 - $1,200 or more depending on whether or not painting is needed, small storage is used, or repairs to the property are performed. Staging for an unoccupied or vacant property involves furnishing the vital rooms of a property such as the main living areas, dining room, kitchen, main floor powder room and master bedroom. We have a wide range of inventory to achieve the look that will appeal to the largest number of potential buyers. The cost for this process is typically 1-1.5% of the total value of the property. If your home is valued at $250,000, the cost will be approximately $2,500 to $3,750. The investment can be well worth it, since a staged home may reduce market time as well as obtain a higher asking price.
